German Speaking Content Moderator - Remote in Greece

The House of Mercier is pleased to offer a position for a German Speaking Content Moderator, working remotely from Greece. In this pivotal role, you will help maintain the safety and quality of online communities by moderating user-generated content across various social media platforms. Your fluency in German will be essential in accurately evaluating and managing diverse content, ensuring it meets community standards. Responsibilities

• Moderate user-generated content on leading social media platforms to ensure adherence to community guidelines.
• Review and analyze posts, comments, and messages in German for appropriateness and relevance.
• Identify and report inappropriate content, including hate speech, harassment, and misinformation.
• Engage with users by responding to inquiries concerning moderation practices and community policies.
• Collaborate with the moderation team to share insights and enhance the overall moderation strategies.
• Maintain accurate records of moderation decisions and assist in tracking content performance metrics.
• Participate in training sessions to remain updated on best practices and changes in platform policies.

• Fluency in German with excellent written communication skills.
• Proficiency in English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
• Experience in content moderation, social media management, or a similar field preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to interpret context in varied content.
• Excellent critical thinking and decision-making capabilities.
• Familiarity with major social media platforms and their community guidelines.
• Able to work independently in a remote setting while also engaging in a team-oriented environment.
