About Us:
We are seeking an Experienced Field Case Manager to oversee medical treatment for individuals with workplace injuries on a full-time basis. Collaborating with insurance carriers, medical providers, attorneys, employers, and employees, you will closely monitor each case, providing regular updates to employers and insurance carriers. Your role will focus on ensuring optimal medical care and facilitating a safe and timely return to work.
Responsibilities:
  • Manage comprehensive medical case management, coordinating with patients, physicians, healthcare providers, employers, and referral sources.
  • Assess treatment plans for appropriateness, medical necessity, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Coordinate Independent Medical Evaluations and/or conduct job site evaluations to support case management.
  • Monitor patient progress, engage in discussions with physicians, and provide medical recommendations to all involved parties.
  • Develop cost-effective strategies for medical care management and efficiently prioritize workload.
  • Prepare detailed reports within specified timeframes, attend injured worker appointments, and fulfill additional duties as assigned.
 
Qualifications:
  • Associates of Science degree in Nursing (ASN) or higher-level nursing degree.
  • Proven clinical experience, ideally in ICU, ER, Trauma, Ortho, and/or Neurology.
  • Case Management experience 
  • Prefer experienced Workers Compensation NCM and fluency in Spanish.

Additionally, Tuition Assistance and Student Loan Repayment benefits are available for full-time employees working 37.5 hours per week.
