Your Career

This role is client-facing and requires the Principal Consultant to lead and produce deliverables based on proactive services engagements. The Principal Consultant will work directly with multiple customers and key stakeholders (security teams, system and network administrators and owners, C-Suite, etc.) to manage and deliver proactive incident preparedness engagements and more generic CRM requests. Furthermore, the Principal Consultant will act as a mentor and go to person in order to build up and strengthen our Proactive Services team. Speaking at a conference, taking part in a Panel and general representation of Unit42 is also part of the role. 

Your Impact

  • Perform and lead proactive incident preparedness projects, including but not limited to TableTop Exercises (TTX), Incident Response Plans and Response Maturity Assessments
  • Review Crisis Management, Incident Response, Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery Plans, and other relevant documents that support holistic business resilience
  • Plan and deliver a range of TTXs, including writing post exercise reports that provide detailed recommendations on areas for improvement and how to resolve any areas of weakness
  • Manage and lead incident preparedness engagements from initial scoping through to delivery.
  • Ability to perform travel requirements as needed to meet business demands (on average 20%)
  • Mentorship of team members in incident preparedness best practices

Qualifications

Your Experience 

  • 6+ years of incident preparedness, CRM, incident response or digital forensics related consulting experience with a passion for cyber security
  • Strong leadership skills including experience managing a team or individuals
  • Experience with leading complicated engagements including scoping, interfacing with the client, and have executed incident preparedness or DFIR related projects
  • Incident response consulting experience required. Incident preparedness experience is a must as it will be a core focus of the position
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Digital Forensics, Cyber Security or related field or equivalent military experience required
