Remote Waiver Legal Assistant

The Matian Firm is seeking a remote Waiver Legal Assistant to support its Immigration Department. Ideal candidates should possess legal knowledge of immigration laws and a client-service attitude.

Skills

Legal knowledge of immigration laws
Excellent case management skills
Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
Proficiency in case management software

Responsibilities

Analyze case documents and prepare immigration applications for filing
Communicate with clients regarding procedural and case processing issues
Oversee status of cases using case management and billing systems
Ensure that clients are kept informed about their case progress
Assist attorneys and team members in managing caseload

Education

Previous experience as a paralegal
Experience in Immigration Law
