The Program Coordinator reports to the operations manager and works collaboratively alongside program managers and program assistants. The Program Coordinator applies their general knowledge and understanding of continuing education concepts, principles, and technical capabilities to perform varied tasks. Performance is assessed based on professional alignment with Glenn College values, performance on the duties of the position, and progress toward unit goals for program participation and quality.Duties DescriptionCoordinate one professional development program under the supervision of the operations manager. Applies their general knowledge and understanding of continuing education concepts, principles, and technical capabilities to perform varied tasks. Assist with program recruitment via outreach events. Receives general guidance and detailed instruction on new projects from the operations manager. Participate in college meetings as necessary. Act as liaison to instructors and participants inquiring about programs and interpret policies, procedures, and services. Collect and use feedback to make adjustments and improvements to the program; offer advice to improve the process. Coordinate with instructors to create training materials to support facilitators, volunteers and participants. Create requisitions that align with the college budget for specific events. Evaluate and review payments for materials, facilities, staff and instructional faculty. Monitor and report changes/adds/cancellations to course schedule, monitoring enrollment statistics. Serve as the departmental scheduling coordinator for programming. Plan and execute the scheduling of tasks for events and other on-campus programming with minimal supervision. Attend events as necessary.Provide administrative support for additional professional development programs. Administer and transcribe program evaluations. Order, prepare and distribute course materials. Coordinate the administration of program applications, registrations, Cvent content, venues, sessions, agendas, instructors, partners, catering needs, course materials and supplies, parking, and day-of logistics. Identify and select a diverse pool of instructors. Manage instructor correspondence. Assist with the maintenance of instructor information. Interact with program instructors and participants and respond by answering routine questions. Create requisitions that algin with the college budget for specific events. Evaluate and review payments for materials, facilities, staff and instructional faculty. Process payments and refunds. Act as a unit and program ambassador. Assist with the maintenance of customer information. Assist in the development and posting of content for print materials, website, and social media.Perform other duties as assigned.Additional InformationThe hourly rate for this position will be $21.11 to $27.77 to be determined by internal equity and the candidate's education and experience.Position is located in Columbus, OH with an onsite presence in Page Hall.Please provide a cover letter and resumeMinimum Required QualificationsBachelor's degree or equivalent experience. 2 years of relevant experience working in the public and/or nonprofit sector coordinating professional development programs. Proficient communication, time management, and organizational skills.Preferred Qualifications2-4 years of relevant experience.
