Job Description We are seeking a Content Licensing Specialist for one of our clients, located in Santa Monica, CA. This is a hybrid position offering the opportunity to work in the anime industry, managing licensing deals, asset delivery, and royalty tracking for popular anime titles across key global markets. Location: Hybrid (Santa Monica, CA and remote) Shift: Monday to Friday; 9:00am to 6:00pmCompensation: $65,000 - $70,000/Year (DOE) + benefitsKey Responsibilities:• Licensing & Negotiations: License anime IPs for streaming, TV, video, and theatrical distribution in the US, UK, Latin America, and other regions.• Asset Management: Coordinate delivery of materials (master files, press kits) between teams and licensees.• Royalty Management: Calculate and track royalties, issue invoices, and ensure timely payments.• Monitoring & Approvals: Oversee licensing submissions, approvals, and material usage.• Licensing Strategy & Reporting: Assist with business strategy, sales forecasts, and performance reporting.• Industry Awareness: Stay updated on industry trends and support special projects.Requirements:• Fluency in English and Japanese (written and spoken).• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.• 1+ years of experience in licensing or related fields.• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.• Passion for anime and entertainment.• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.Job Type: Full-timePay: $65,000.00 - $70,000.00 per yearBenefits:• Dental insurance• Health insurance• Paid time off• Vision insuranceSchedule:• 8 hour shift• Monday to FridayEducation:• Bachelor's (Required)Experience:• Licensing: 1 year (Required)Language:• Japanese (Required)Ability to Commute:• Santa Monica, CA (Required)Ability to Relocate:• Santa Monica, CA: Relocate before starting work (Required)Willingness to travel:• 25% (Preferred)Work Location: Hybrid remote in Santa Monica, CA
