Our projects include Keep (now Threshold) Network, a privacy protocol for public blockchains, Fold, for earning Bitcoin on your purchases in the physical and virtual worlds, Taho, a community owned and operated cryptocurrency wallet, and Embody, a fully encrypted period tracking app.

Investors in the company include Andreessen Horowitz, Polychain Capital, and Draper Associates, among others. We are a remote-first company, led by founders who have been operating in the cryptocurrency and web3 space since 2014.

About the Operations Associate

Thesis is looking for a highly organized, detail oriented Operations Associate to perform a variety of clerical, administrative, and operational tasks supporting the Studio Operations Team, Thesis Defense, and other cross-functional needs. We are looking for someone to start in the role by April 1, 2024 or sooner.

The ideal candidate will have outstanding time management skills, professional communication skills (written, verbal), attention to detail, and problem-solving mentality, a strong sense of urgency. These characteristics are essential in the role, as this position will support company-wide, cross-functional initiatives in a fast-paced environment spanning multiple time zones.

Responsibilities in this position will primarily encompass, but will not be limited to, supporting the Thesis Studio and its projects and teams with administrative tasks, internal and external communications, and other day-to-day operational duties; and with supporting the Thesis Defense team to deliver excellent responsiveness to customers.

Interest in cryptocurrency and blockchain is a bonus.

What You’ll Do

I love logistics! You are capable of coordinating remotely from the simplest task to the most complex
I love clarity! Run bizops and peopleops processes with laser-sharp fidelity and accuracy to enable clarity of execution and efficient response times
I love culture! Be an expert and advocate of Thesis's culture, values, and ways of working with existing and new team members
Display a positive attitude and be able to shift your work as needed. Flexibility and deciphering what is a priority is key!
Plan and organize cross-functional education and training sessions, ensuring qualitt, fidelity, inclusivity, and uptake across a remote, asynchronous, global team
Update and improve company documentation, with a keen awareness of the target audience for each document
Create contracts, filing paperwork, and main company people information and customer information with accuracy and integrity in Pipedrive, Justworks, Deel, Brex, and other platforms
Manage customer data and ensure responsiveness and timeliness to customers and potential customers of Thesis's security auditing services business
Support CRM data entry and data management, ensuring data integrity and pulling regular reports from the CRM and share with finance / leadership as needed
Support managing Thesis's fleet of laptops and devices for team members
Support Ops with occasional office management tasks related to Thesis’s in-person workspaces
Support Operations team and Defense team to plan and execute occasional company events, retreats, and onsites
Join meetings, take notes, and document action items. Be confident in directing work to the proper individual or team
Work with Ops, DevOps, and Defense on opportunities to optimize and automate cross-functional processes, adopting a problem solving approach
Other duties as assigned

Requirements

Prior experience in an early stage startup
Detail-focused in your day to day
Clear and precise communication style in written and verbal communication
Strong verbal presentation and facilitation skills
Excellent written communication skills
Flexible and adaptive
Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities
Ability to synthesize complex strategic concepts and translate to deliverables
Interest in a high growth, high-variance working environment
Interest in learning about web3/blockchain technologies
Prior experience in a remote work environment is a must

Ideally, you’ll also

Have experience with people operations / human resources
Have experience with human resource platforms (Justworks, Deel)
Be familiar with CRMs (Pipedrive)

Location

All Thesis roles are remote-first, with a preference for Europe & Americas time zones.
