Inbound Sales Development Representative

We’re TheyDo, a fully remote B2B SaaS organisation. Founded in 2019, we are the leading journey management platform, on a mission to make the customer journey the most powerful business tool there is.

In March 2024 we announced our latest funding round worth $34 million. Combined with our Series A raise in 2022 it takes our total investment to just under $50 million. Our angel investors include executives from Intercom, Miro, OpenAI, Amplitude, Slack, Airtable and more.

We support and partner with renowned enterprise organizations such as Cisco, Ford, Johnson & Johnson, Home Depot and Polestar, helping them manage their complex journeys and optimize them for efficient growth, removing the need for constant transformation.

We kicked off 2024 with a global team of 65 TheyDoers, representing over 30 nationalities across 20 countries.

What You’ll Do

  • Pipeline Generation:  Generate opportunities from free trials, chat, and inbound marketing leads, becoming the inbound pipeline engine for the business.

  • Lead Conversion: Convert qualified leads by acting as a trial expert, delivering personalized outreach based on product and marketing signals, and conducting thorough research.

  • Lead Management: Adhere to lead source SLA’s and conversion rates, ensuring daily KPIs, including lead dispositioning, are met.

  • Product Expertise: Leverage in-product tools to understand free trial use cases and assist leads in advancing through the product.

  • Lead Nurturing: Identify, nurture, and convert high-potential ‘slow simmer’ leads for the sales organisation.

  • Process Improvement: Share insights and improvement points to help sales and growth teams automate key parts of the assessment.

  • Consultative Selling: Understand users’ challenges and go above and beyond to demonstrate how our solutions can address them.

  • Playbook Development: Help define and build the inbound playbook, playing a critical role in continuously improving our sales development approach.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, customer success, and product teams to align on strategy and execution.

  • Reporting and Analytics: Monitor and report on the performance of inbound sales activities, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.

  • Training and Mentorship: Assist in the training and development of new SDRs as the team grows.

What We’re Looking For

  • 6 months to 1 year minimum experience as a sales development representative or similar role (BDR, ADR, etc.), preferably in high tech or SaaS.

  • Experience with inbound SLA, outreach motions, and lead processing.

  • Experience with Salesforce and/or Outreach is a plus.

  • Adaptability in a fast-paced, early-stage startup environment.

  • Experience in product-led growth or B2B enterprise sales is beneficial but not required.

  • Experience serving CX or UX is a plus.

  • A self-managed individual who thrives in a scale-up phase where things move fast and sometimes break.

  • A learning and growth mindset.
