Tock Software Engineer Intern - Summer 2023

Tock is looking for passionate and eager students to join our Software Engineering Internship Program this summer in Chicago. This is an opportunity for you to work with world-class engineers on challenging problems while having a big impact on the hospitality industry. Over the course of our 12 week program, you will contribute meaningful work, grow your technical skills, help define the next stage of our growth and explore all that Tock and Chicago has to offer.

This role is based in Chicago. We have introduced our Flexible Work Philosophy for Tock employees, which allows for hybrid remote and in-office work.

Our Intern Roles:

• Frontend: As a Frontend engineer you will help build next-generation web applications with TypeScript and React and help shape the evolution of a complex system. For Frontend, you will need experience in JavaScript or Typescript.
• Full-stack: As a Full-stack engineer you will contribute to features and take them from design to production and help build next-generation web applications. For Full-stack, you will need experience in either Java, JavaScript, or Typescript.

Who We're Looking For:

• Currently enrolled student, graduating in December 2023 or Spring 2024.
• Pursuing a BS or MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• A foundation in computer science with competencies in data structures, algorithms, and software design practices.

Cash Compensation Range $51.00 / hourly USD
