As we continue to grow, we are seeking a Venue Partnerships Manager to spearhead our efforts in establishing and nurturing relationships with venues. This role will be pivotal in scaling our venue partnerships, enhancing our offering, and reinforcing our position as the go-to platform for event planning.


The role

As a Venue Partnerships Manager at Togather, you will expand our footprint within the £10 billion UK venues market, specifically targeting venues with capacities between 100 and 1000. Your mission is two-fold; To expand the collection of venues using Togather to secure venue hire bookings, and secondly to embed Togather as the go-to catering solution for those venues by leveraging our digital platform of high-quality food & drinks options. Reporting to the Head of Supply, you will drive our market expansion, secure strategic partnerships, and ensure Togather becomes the preferred partner of choice for UK event venues looking to secure more bookings and enhance their catering offering. 

In this role, you will manage the full sales cycle, from identifying and prospecting potential venues to negotiating and closing exclusive supplier agreements. You will develop and execute acquisition strategies, build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, and ensure our services are integrated and visible. By harmonising Togather’s proposition to venues, your efforts will revolutionise how venues engage with Togather and continue our trajectory as the go-to solution for UK event venues. 

Key Responsibilities

Sales and Business Development:

  • Drive the entire sales process, from identifying and prospecting potential venues to negotiating and closing exclusive supplier agreements
  • Develop and execute sales plans designed to meet and exceed targets, focusing on scalable processes at the top of the sales funnel
  • Utilise CRM tools to track and manage sales activities, ensuring data accuracy and efficiency.
  • Develop and enhance a best-in-class onboarding journey with use of content, CRM and incentivisation  

Networking and Relationship Management:

  • Establish and nurture relationships with key stakeholders in the venue industry, including venue managers, owners, and decision-makers
  • Represent Togather at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to expand your industry network and improve our market presence
  • Foster trust and maintain a positive reputation within the market, positioning Togather as the preferred partner for event venues

Securing Preferred Supplier Listings:

  • Engage in strategic negotiations to secure Togather's status as a preferred or exclusive supplier at prestigious venues
  • Ensure seamless integration of these venues onto Togather's platform, optimising their listings for increased visibility and engagement 
  • Emphasise the unique value proposition of Togather's platform, which simplifies and improves the catering process by offering venues access to top-tier food and drink options with minimal effort,  alongside access to exclusive events from the UKs top event planners

Performance Tracking and Reporting:

  • Monitor and report on sales performance, market feedback, and industry trends, using data-driven insights to refine strategies and improve outcomes.
  • Provide regular updates to the Head of Supply and other stakeholders on key performance metrics and strategic initiatives.
  • Share information & feedback with wider team on supply liquidity requirements & regional trends, helping to drive cohesive, highly relevant marketplace acquisition strategies 

Account Management:

  • Proactively manage relationships with partner venues post-listing, facilitating ongoing communication and maximising the volume of enquiries and bookings
  • Address any issues or concerns raised by partner venues promptly and effectively, ensuring a high level of satisfaction and engagement
    • Sales Experience: Proven success in sales roles and experience driving the full sales cycle, consistently meeting or exceeding targets, with a strong emphasis on business development and strategic partnerships
    • Networking Skills: Ability to build and maintain an extensive network of industry contacts, leveraging these relationships to drive business success
    • Sales Drive: Demonstrated sales acumen with a history of surpassing ambitious sales targets, driven by a strategic and results-oriented approach
    • Relationship Management: Excellent interpersonal skills to address the unique needs of venue owners and managers, fostering strong and lasting partnerships
    • Performance Monitoring: Ability to track, analyse, and report on sales performance and market trends, using data to inform and refine strategic initiatives
    • Team Collaboration: Enthusiasm for working within a dynamic team environment, contributing to Togather's leadership in the venues sector for corporate events.
    • Generalist mindset: Demonstrated ability to think strategically and make impactful decisions across varied parts of the overall process
