High School English & Global History Tutor

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated High School English & Global History Tutor to join our team to provide in-person tutoring services to a Queens high school starting ASAP. The ideal candidate will work in-person with high school students to prepare them for the English and Global History Regents exams. This role is crucial in helping students build a strong foundation in English and Global History, setting them up for long-term academic success.

Compensation and Schedule:

  • Target launch date of January, 2025 running through June 2025
  • Compensation of $30/hr
  • Schedule of 2 six-hour days each week

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized and small-group tutoring sessions in English and Global History to students in grades 9-12
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of students, including ENL students
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing regular feedback to teachers and parents
