In this exciting role, you'll provide in-person tutoring services in Queens, helping students prepare for the English and Global History Regents exams. We are looking for a passionate and dedicated individual who thrives on making a difference. Your primary responsibilities will include delivering individualized and small-group sessions to grades 9-12, developing engaging lesson plans tailored to diverse learners, and closely monitoring and assessing student progress. Your expertise will not just help students navigate the academic challenges they face but will also foster their love for learning. We require a Bachelor's degree in Education, English, or a related field, alongside previous tutoring or teaching experience in high school settings. Ideally, you should be well-versed in the New York State Regents exams. What's more, you'll enjoy a competitive hourly rate of $30 and have the opportunity to work two six-hour days each week from January to June 2025.
