Overview: Sr. QA Engineer - Cloud Services

We are seeking an experienced Senior Cloud Testing Engineer to join us! Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and execute testing for cloud services related to smart home and networking products, ensuring high availability, reliability, and scalability of backend systems
• Design and implement comprehensive cloud testing strategies, including test plans, automation frameworks, and test infrastructure.
• Conduct performance, load, scalability, and stress testing to ensure cloud services can handle millions of concurrent IoT connections
• Contribute to CI/CD pipeline design and implementation, improving testing efficiency and deployment reliability
• Work with cloud developers, mobile app engineers, and IoT device QA teams to resolve interoperability and cross-platform issues
• Investigate user feedback, reproduce reported issues, and collaborate with R&D teams to debug and resolve cloud-related failures

Qualifications:

• Bilingual in Mandarin and English, with verbal and written communication skills
• 5+ years of experience in cloud service testing or backend development
• Extensive experience with the Kubernetes ecosystem, including deep knowledge of Kubernetes (K8s), Docker, Helm, and container orchestration
• Deep understanding of MySQL, MongoDB, and middleware such as Kafka.
• Proficiency in Python or Java, with hands-on experience developing automation frameworks, test scripts, and cloud testing tools
• Hands-on experience with various testing methodologies, including Load Testing, Stress Testing, Scalability Testing, and Volume Testing
• Deep understanding of CI/CD pipelines, cloud deployment strategies, and microservices architecture
• Excellent communication skills and teamwork spirit, able to effectively collaborate with different teams.

Additional Preferred Skills:

• Team management experience is preferred
• Work experience in the field of Wi-Fi networking or smart home products
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and serverless technologies
• Extensive experience in Chaos Engineering.
• Strong knowledge of networking and security.

Salary Range: $120,000 - $160,000
