What you do:
Production/Oversight Controls:
- Work autonomously and collaborate closely with Traders in the US but also Trade Support Teams in various locations globally, as well as with the wider global Trade & Position Life Cycle Team.
- Perform oversight control of transaction management activities outsourced to our Middle Office Provider across a wide range of instruments including but not limited to Fixed Income, Equity, FX, as well as listed and OTC derivatives
- Be the main point of contact for trade related topics and manage internal and external requests from Key stakeholders (Investment Teams, Traders, Client Account Managers, accountants, external providers …) on a timely manner
- Manage and challenge middle office service provider where needed
- Build credible, trusted relationships with our key internal stakeholders across all levels of the organization (Investment, Trading, Distribution, Risk Management …)
- Be particularly analyst and rigorous while performing tasks and meeting deadlines
- Manage and/or escalate conflicts, issues with respective stakeholders, being proactive.
- Write or update operational procedures, all the while seeking Global Harmonization
Projects/Initiatives/Change
- Participate as Subject Matter Expert to various projects and initiatives related to or affecting Trade Support and make sure proper processes are defined for the team (T+1 settlement, Global Dealing, new product or instrument launch, …)
- Provide clear input & be vocal in meetings impacting the Trade Support activities or where Trade Support might affect other departments, teams or stakeholders
- Propose improvements such as automation or process efficiency enhancements and work with other Transformation ‘ambassadors’ globally to drive these changes
Cross-Functional Training
- Perform trainings with our local Bloomberg Admin to be able to cover the others’ respective core responsibilities as a backup
- Have an ongoing dialogue, share information and foster awareness of what is happening in each of the respective functions
- Represent overall TPLC towards our US stakeholders
What you bring:
- At least 5 years’ experience in the Middle Office area (ideally transaction management), with exposure to multiple asset classes
- Very good knowledge of the different instruments and their specificities
- Understanding of full trade life cycle including awareness of middle and back-office functions/processes and their touch points with the front office and downstream
- Strong experience in an international environment
- Experience as Subject Matter Expert in projects / initiatives is a plus
- Experience in the Asset Management industry
- Experience in an Outsourced Middle Office model is a real plus

- Languages: verbal and written communication capability in French or German is a plus
- Digitalization experience & automation skills (VBA or RPA) is a real plus
- Good Knowledge of Bloomberg, and especially Bloomberg AIM is a plus
Range $90,000 - $140,000
Actual base salary may vary based upon factors such as relevant experience, qualifications, internal equity of peers, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for an annual incentive program.
