Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Customer Success Manager to join our team. As a Senior Customer Success Manager, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with our customers, expanding your customer’s business with TradeCentric, ensuring customers achieve defined outcomes enabled by our solutions,  and ensuring customer satisfaction. This is a great opportunity for someone who is highly motivated, goal driven, passionate about customer relationships, has excellent communication skills, and enjoys working in a small company setting.


Senior Customer Success Managers (Sr CSMs) are responsible for working with customers to ensure they realize the full value of their TradeCentric investment. Sr CSMs understand their client’s business requirements, share best practice approaches for achieving the desired outcome, and help their customers leverage the TradeCentric solution portfolio to achieve their goals. 


TradeCentric Sr CSMs serve as customer advocates for their clients, providing best practices and guidance for the customer’s connected commerce business. Sr CSMs are strategically focused and responsible for client satisfaction, maintaining client communication, and the overall management of the client relationship. The Sr CSM works to expand the client relationship by identifying new business opportunities within the TradeCentric portfolio and driving them to closure. Sr CSMs work with the delivery team to execute on contract terms and conditions to ensure on-time delivery of projects that support the client’s business. Sr CSMs collaborate with the Renewal Manager to ensure their customers renew their business with TradeCentric.


Essential Functions:
  • Meet and exceed Expansion ARR (Annual Recurring Revenue), One Time Fee(s), and Annual Revenue targets
  • Expand and Grow customer’s existing business with TradeCentric by cross sell, upsell, and uplift, achieving quarterly targets 
  • Uncover new opportunities by developing customer needs within the portfolio of customers to achieve expansion goals
  • Strategic selling to multi-million/billion dollar companies; managing C-Level relationships
  • Achievement of assigned sales quotas by performing sales activities including lead development, sales cycle management and deal closing
  • Deeply understand and communicate TradeCentric’s value proposition
  • Drive customer adoption and success of TradeCentric solutions within a defined set of customers
  • Build relationships with high-level customer contacts as a Trusted Advisor and lead regular business reviews to ensure alignment across the business
  • Collaborate with members of the extended TradeCentric team to build, share and execute a strategic account plan
  • Demonstrate what good looks like to other members of the Customer Success Team, leading by example and taking the lead on strategic initiatives
  • Maintain in-depth understanding of competitive conditions & industry practices
  • Use our CRM (Salesforce) system to manage the territory and track all sales activities and opportunities
  • Drive customer key adoption and success activities:
-Document customer’s environment, business requirements, and competitive landscape
-Share best practices to drive customer’s Return on Investment
-Ensure customers are aware of the return on their investment via reports within our Portal
-Proactively facilitate customers’ education needs
-Orchestrate customer onboarding, product implementation and adoption process for new solutions and new customers added to your portfolio
-Proactively escalate significant product and/or support issues and ensure resolution
-Establish customer engagement with internal tools such as Successhub and Portal
-Collaborate with your customers to become References or share Success Stories
-Promote participation in our virtual and/or in person events and activities, such as webinars, LinkedIn Lives, Industry and TradeCentric events
-Support customer feedback activities and execute closed-loop feedback mechanisms


Minimum Qualifications/Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in related field and 10+ years of experience managing customer relationships in the IT industry
  • Deep understanding of how customers use IT to deliver business value and outcomes
  • Direct and proven track record establishing strategic outcomes and metrics
  • Experience as a quota carrying sales professional with consistent overachievement of goals
  • Broad understanding of procurement and/or e-commerce industry trends and directions
  • Experience working with and presenting to senior level executives, gaining their trust and buy in
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills; presentation and public speaking skills
  • Ability to navigate across the organization to solve problems


Preferred Qualifications/Experience:
  • Previous customer-facing experience with a large enterprise software vendor
  • Overachievement of Quota goals/metrics
