2025 Summer Teaching Associate (TA)

Training The Street (TTS) is looking for teaching associates to help with financial modeling and valuation training programs at corporate and academic clients throughout the US. It is a great learning experience and opportunity to network with other finance professionals. Responsibilities:

  • Provide support and assistance as needed to Lead Instructor for virtual and in-person programs
  • Assist trainees one-on-one or in small groups with Excel-based valuation exercises (i.e., public & acquisition comparables, constructing earnings forecast models, DCF, LBO, merger consequences)
  • Assist Lead Instructor with deliverables such as grade reports
  • Availability to work during business hours Monday-Friday and weekends, as needed, beginning in late May
  • Book and manage own travel as needed (domestic travel optional, but not required)
  • Located in New York or working remotely from AZ, CA, FL, GA, IL, KY, MN, NC, NJ, NV, NY, OH, SC, VA, WA, WI
  • Experience in investment banking, asset management, equity research, or corporate finance
  • Strong analytical skills, especially in valuation and financial modeling
  • Strong proficiency in Excel, particularly with constructing financial models
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
  • Team player; patient personality; comfortable and willing to help others
  • Passion for teaching and sharing knowledge; no prior teaching experience required
  • Must be authorized to work in the US during one or more of the following timeframes in 2025:
    • April 15th - June 30th
    • May 15th - July 31st
    • June 15th - August 31st

Except for statutorily required benefits, part time employees are not entitled to participate in any employee benefit plans.


Compensation:

Employees are compensated at a daily rate of $550 per day.
