Accelerated Development Program – Engineering
Trane Technologies Accelerated Development Programs (ADPs) provide recent college graduates with challenging assignments, leadership training and valuable exposure to our company's senior leaders. Through rotations and experiences in multiple geographic and business locations, you will be able to build diverse skill sets and a strong foundation for a successful and fulfilling career with Trane Technologies. These assignments are strategically chosen to ensure your continuous learning and personal development.
Software and Computer Engineering ADP members will develop a solid engineering foundation with skills in key areas including Product Management, Application & Systems Engineering, Embedded Software, Project Management, Modeling & Simulation, Software Development, Scrum Master, Web Application Development, Cloud, Data Analytics, ML/AI, and more. Assignments are strategically chosen to ensure continuous learning and personal development.
The Software and Computer Engineering ADP experience is comprised of rotations with on-site expectations, defined as physical presence at your assigned work location required 5 days per week.
Our Accelerated Development Program in Engineering has three rotations:
• 12-month product line assignment
• 6-month cross-functional or extended function experience
• 12-month project-based assignment
The program can include up to two physical moves. Relocation assistance is provided for new work locations where the distance is at least 50 miles.
Successful Candidate’s Profile
Function specific responsibilities will vary based on the assignment. A successful candidate for the Accelerated Development Program will exhibit the following:
• BS/MS Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Software Engineering with a cumulative overall GPA at or above 3.0, completed prior to start date.
• Demonstrated leadership skills: minimum of two examples such as: School club officer, sports team captain, resident advisor, etc. or exceptional leadership of work projects.
• Work Experience: Minimum of one degree-related internship or six months of related work experience.
• Views problems as opportunities and can adapt quickly to new or changing business circumstances. Demonstrates aptitude for independently progressing work with limited supervision
