GO!Bus Utility Worker

Utility Workers Needed! Help Make the Elderly and Disabled Go!    
 The Rapid and Transdev have partnered to provide Go!Bus Service in the Greater Grand Rapids Community! Join our team and become part of the largest private-sector operator of transportation in North America; one that cares about its employees, passengers and the communities they serve.

What you will be doing:
    
  • Wash exterior of vehicles using power washer and brushes; sweeps and removes trash from vehicles
  • Drives, maneuvers, and parks vehicles
  • Fuels buses, replenishes fluids, and logs and records all fluids used
  • Downloads drive cameras; probes fare boxes
  • Performs light maintenance to shop areas, fueling stations, and related facilities
  • Reports any maintenance issues to Supervisor
Other duties as required.
Who you are:    
  • At least 21 years old with a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
  • A valid drivers license in good standing with a minimum of 1 year of driving experience.
  • Punctual with an emphasis on attendance.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment background check, drug screen, and Department of Transportation (DOT) physical.
