We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to join our team as Senior Counsel for Information and Cyber Security. In this role, you will play a critical role in protecting our company and its valuable assets from cyber threats while ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations. As part of our legal team, you will have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive our company's security strategy. If you are ready to take on a challenging and rewarding role in a fast-paced and innovative environment, then we want to hear from you.Develop and implement policies and procedures for information and cyber security in accordance with relevant laws and regulations.Monitor and assess potential cyber threats and vulnerabilities to the company's systems and assets.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including technology and risk management, to develop and implement security strategies.Provide legal guidance and support to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations related to information and cyber security.Review and negotiate contracts and agreements with third-party vendors to ensure appropriate security measures are in place.Conduct legal research and stay up-to-date on developments in information and cyber security laws and regulations.Conduct training and education for employees on information and cyber security best practices and policies.Investigate and respond to security incidents, including data breaches, and provide legal advice on appropriate actions to take.Advise on the development and maintenance of incident response plans and protocols.Stay informed on emerging security technologies and make recommendations for their implementation.Collaborate with external legal counsel and regulatory bodies as needed.Participate in the development and review of company policies and procedures related to information and cyber security.Provide legal support for compliance audits and assessments.Represent the company in legal proceedings related to information and cyber security.Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization to ensure a strong security culture and understanding of related legal requirements.TransUnion is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
