What You'll Do on a Typical Day
- Handle end-to execution of strategic meetings programs and event by event programs
- Ensure quality delivery of meeting and execution services
- Contribute to operational process design and ongoing process management
- Optimize processes to improve overall program performance
- Maintain senior stakeholder engagement and communication
- Establish work flow schedules and project timelines
- Coordinate with clients and suppliers to handle program details efficiently
- Handle contracts with hotels, destination management companies, and third-party vendors
- Integrate global process mandates into local market processes
- Improve program effectiveness and efficiency through continuous improvement
What We're Looking For
- 5 years or above of meeting planning experience
- Experience working with domestic and international venues
- Extensive experience in planning high-end dinners/events at top venues
- Familiarity with meeting industry technology is a plus
- Strong oral and written presentation skills
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally by various means of transportation
- Self-starter with project management, meetings management, and client management experience
- Up to 40% travel availability
- Strong leadership and relationship management abilities
- Executive presence and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to anticipate client needs and exceed requirements
- Ability to build and manage relationships with clients and suppliers
- Financial management skills, including budgeting and expense tracking
- Two days working at the client's Sydney office is needed
- Sydney-based is priority
