We are looking for an inspiring Head of Engineering to lead our growing team and accelerate the market adoption of Trengo’s Customer Communication Platform worldwide.

What Your Job Looks Like

• Team Leadership: Provide guidance, coaching, and leadership to ensure the engineering team excels in delivering high-quality software. Foster both personal and professional growth within your team, creating an inspirational environment that attracts top talent.

• Technical Direction: Lead architectural and system design initiatives to facilitate arapidly scaling business. Establish a strong, lean engineering culture that promotes best practices.

• Strategic Alignment: Collaborate with the CTO, Head of Product, and other key stakeholders to align technology solutions with the product vision, driving customer and business value.

• Product Delivery: Ensure the right solutions are delivered to meet company goals 

•Cross-functional Collaboration: Be an integral part of the leadership team, working closely with other departments such as product, sales, marketing, and customer success to understand business strategy and impact.


What You're Like

• Technical Expertise: Strong technical background with a deep understanding of current technology trends. Our stack includes PHP with Laravel for the backend and JavaScript with VueJS for the frontend.

• Hands-on Experience: Experienced developer with hands-on experience building SaaS products in the B2B market.

• Leadership Experience: At least 5 years of experience managing other managers in tech positions, particularly through the scale-up phase.

• Scalability Mindset: Proven track record of helping startups/scale-ups double their engineering teams successfully.

• Project Management: Comfortable managing multiple projects and teams, prioritizing business value over ad-hoc solutions/features.

• Architectural Skills: Experience in architecting, building, and scaling services and cloud-based systems for millions of users. Familiar with continuous delivery and fast release cycles while maintaining quality and security standards.

Metrics and KPIs: Ability to create and measure KPIs to assess product performance and developer impact.

• Collaborative Spirit: Strong collaboration skills and experience partnering closely with various departments to drive overall business success. Proven track record of setting up OKRs for Tech Teams.
