We are seeking RN’s, Paramedics, LPN’s, EMT’s and other specialized technicians to help support the exciting field of donation and transplantation. We are offering immediate full-time positions. The Triage Coordinator (TC) is responsible to respond to incoming calls from hospitals and other referring agencies, collect data regarding potential donors to determine if they are candidates for donation, and inform the caller of donation potential.
At Present time, we are recruiting for 2-3 strong medical professionals to join our call center team as a Triage Coordinator. This position is ideal for an individual with experience as an EMT, Paramedic, or RN who is looking for a change and an opportunity to use their experience to make a difference.
Currently, we have a need for individuals who prefer working evening and overnight shifts, with the potential of working on any shift within our 24-7 environment. This is a Full-time opportunity. We are looking for these positions to be filled as soon as possible. To be considered for this position you must have a quiet workspace with an adequate internet connection speed. $20/hour - $22/hour plus shift differential depending on schedule

Responsibilities:
Responsible for responding to incoming calls from hospitals and other referring agencies.a. Answers incoming calls in a timely and professional manner.b. Listens and responds to caller�??s needs for guidance and information.c. Follows computer prompts to complete referral message and organ import offer process accurately.d. Obtains necessary medical information regarding potential donors from the caller and documents/records information clearly and concisely.e. Conducts state donor registry checks as applicable for all potential donors.f. Memorization of key medical abbreviations and special computer codes needed for documentation Places appropriate outbound calls to involved agencies per client protocol. Relays all known information to appropriate agencies on cases status. Receives and logs all fresh tissue graft cases per process and conducts all necessary follow up to secure test results related to the client process. Places outbound calls to conduct medical interviews with wait listed transplant patients per client protocol and when appropriate, enters data in to designated data systems. Performs Lab Data Entry function for all related projects/services. Documents organ import offers and contacts necessary personnel in a timely manner. Places outbound calls to conduct medical interviews with wait listed transplant patients per client protocol and when appropriate, enters data in to designated data systems. Receives and evaluates all organ offers per client protocol whether for transplant or research. This includes organ specific clinical evaluation, test results, physical descriptions and specific requirements as outlined by client. Conducts any required outbound communication with OPO�??s, HLA Labs, transplant coordinators, transplant surgeons or research doctors related to active organ placement cases until such time as a decision to accept or decline the offer is reached. Demonstrates proficiency related to process or quality investigations and communication of findings to supervisor/manager. Performs Advance Quality Assurance responsibilities on basic referral calls, Fresh Tissue process, waitlist process and organ allocation processes. Maintains and advances technical skills through professional education and training thereby increasing the effectiveness of the department. Assists on special projects and performs additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Required Education - High School Diploma/G.E.D. with medically related college course work, medically related certification program Required Experience -3 Years Medical background or training (EMT, Paramedics �?? 3 or more years of experience, LPN, RN, EMS dispatcher, and/or equivalent work experience) required. Completion of coursework related to Human Anatomy and Physiology Required License, Certification & Registration - CNA Appropriate certifications/licensure for any previous paraprofessional position prior to hire (EMT, CNA). Specialized Knowledge, Technical Skills, and Abilities - Demonstrated proficiency with technical and business writing skills. Strong customer service, conflict resolution and communication skills required. Ability to type a minimum 30 wpm required. Ability to work in a flexible environment, effectively multi-task and problem solve issues, and adapt to change quickly while meeting organizational goals required.
