Mechanic Requirements

• At least 6 to 12 months of experience in a garage environment or vocational school
• Must have tools to support general Class 8 truck and trailer repairs
• Ability to perform heavy lifting of 50 pounds on a regular basis
• Must have or be able to obtain McKee Foods LTO (Lift Truck Operator) license within 90 days on the job (includes a good driving record and meeting vision requirements to drive a lift truck at McKee Foods)
• Must have EPA-approved air conditioning certification or obtain it within 30 days on the job
