What You’ll Do
As Adjunct Faculty the day-to-day responsibilities will include:
Provide instruction, service and support of college policies and procedures, along with opportunities for professional development.
Applicants must be able to work in all clinical settings of the program.
Who We’re Looking For
We’re seeking a candidate who brings not only technical expertise but also a passion for education and student success. Our ideal candidate must:
Possess three or more years of experience in a specialty area such as ER, ICU, OB, and/or must possess a minimum of an associate’s degree and be certified as a Florida Emergency Medical Technician-Basic, a paramedic or licensed Registered Nurse in good standing with the certifying agency.
Have at least three years of recent experience in the area where they provide clinical instruction or Florida licensure as a Paramedic to teach paramedic courses and as an Emergency Medical Technician to teach in the EMT program.
Successfully complete health screening, drug screening and clinical affiliated required background checks.
In addition to the minimum qualifications listed for the positions, applicants must be able to work in any clinical settings. All prospective faculty are expected to demonstrate the following characteristics:

Commitment to development and assessment of student learning
Use of technology and innovative approaches to enhance teaching and learning,
including distance learning and alternative delivery systems.
Willingness to support a diverse population of learners inside and beyond the classroom
Ability to work in a participatory and collegial setting
