We help brands, advocacy organizations, and sell-side solutions be more effective and move faster.The RoleThe Sales Operations Analyst plays a pivotal role in driving the efficiency and effectiveness of the sales team through data analysis and process optimization. This position involves analyzing data, developing and maintaining sales processes, and implementing strategies and projects to boost sales performance and revenue growth. The Sales Operations Analyst collaborates with various departments (sales, marketing, finance, operations) to optimize workflows, support the entire sales cycle, and enhance the overall customer journey, ensuring alignment and maximizing revenue potential.This role will report to our Vice President of Business Development and will be based in our Arlington, VA office. The Sales Operations Analyst will be in charge of all sales systems including HubSpot, Gong, SalesIntel, Winmo, Vidyard, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator. Additionally, this role will assist the VP of Business Development with various tasks as needed, requiring an adaptable individual capable of supporting multiple fronts.Responsibilities* Compile, analyze, and report on sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and potential.* Create and maintain sales reports and dashboards to track KPIs such as call activity, conversion rates, pipeline, and closing time.* Provide actionable insights and recommendations to optimize sales strategies and improve overall sales efficiency.* Forecast demand, revenue, and expenses to inform sales planning and strategy.* Plan, coordinate, and implement various projects to optimize sales processes and workflows.* Manage and maintain all sales systems including HubSpot, Gong, SalesIntel, Winmo, Vidyard, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information, including lead and opportunity management.* Create segmented lists, workflows, and automation processes within HubSpot.* Work closely with leadership to develop accurate sales forecasts and analyze historical data and market trends.* Collaborate cross-functionally with other departments to ensure alignment of business objectives and address operational challenges.* Create and present comprehensive reports and findings to senior management, transforming complex data sets into understandable and actionable insights.* Identify tasks suitable for automation to improve sales efficiency.* Assist the Vice President of Business Development with various tasks and projects as needed.Requirements* Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, marketing, or a related field.* Min. 2-3 years of experience in Sales Operations, CRM Specialist, or similar roles.* Proven experience in sales analysis and data analysis specific to projecting sales trends and making accurate sales forecasts.* Familiarity with sales performance metrics and market trends.* Strong system and process understanding with analytical skills to evaluate complex business processes and derive strategic plans.* Proficiency in HubSpot is a must, preferably as a HubSpot admin.* Experience with Gong, SalesIntel, Winmo, Vidyard, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator is highly desirable.* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and sales analytics tools.* Excellent communication and presentation skills.* Detail-oriented with a good understanding of cause and effect.* Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.* Ability to consistently meet deadlines and adapt well to new technologies and applications.
