Senior Back-End Developer

Job description A US-based company providing students with a direct-to-consumer platform for live online learning is looking for a Senior Back-End Developer. The developer will be responsible for working on the AI-based development of the application and will have a tremendous impact on the company culture. The company's curated platform helps boost live online learning to benefit both learners and experts. They have managed to securely raise $100mnin funding during their Series C round of funding. This position requires a 6hours overlap with the PST time zone. JobResponsibilities:Work within the product team to build exciting features Build, maintain and scale the back-end systems and develop a long term vision for the product Propose new ideas and implement improvements to the existing stack Integrate well tested, production-grade code and solve technical problems Job Requirements:Bachelor's/Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience) At least 5years of relevant experience as a back-end developer Prolific experience working with Golang and Ruby on Rails Experience programming new features and systems Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to work independently but also in a team environmentSalary Range:$100K -- $150KMinimum QualificationSoftware DevelopmentEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
