Nurse Examiner Specialist

Providence Medical Forensic Program is seeking an on-call Nurse Practitioner to join its new Providence SAFE Center clinic to in Portland, Oregon. The first of its kind in Oregon, the Providence SAFE Center clinic will provide comprehensive, trauma-informed care to individuals who have experienced sexual, physical, and/or psychological violence. The Nurse Practitioner in this role will perform physical examinations, collect evidence, administer medications, and provide counseling and/or referrals to appropriate resources. The Providence SAFE Center is a unique outpatient medical forensic clinic working in a collaborative multidisciplinary team that includes forensic nurses and nurse practitioners as well as law enforcement and prosecutors.
