Responsibilities

This is a RN ll Training position in Mother Baby Pediatrics area. Renders professional nursing care to mother baby couplets pediatric gynecological and overflow patients in support of medical care as directed by physicians and in accordance with established hospital customer relations credo policies and procedures. The RN is responsible to maintain and continually improve the specific skill set required perform the duties of an RN within the Maternal Child Health areas. The RN is responsible for developing and achieving personal annual performance improvement objectives in conjunction with the service line manager.

 

ALL REGISTERED NURSES will render professional nursing care to patients support medical care as directed by physicians. This position requires the full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the Mission of Dignity Health/Dominican Hospital. It is expected that the employee will demonstrate behavior consistent with the Core Values. Qualifications

Requirements:

• Must have at least 2 years of acute care nursing or  one year of critical care nursing
• Must hold current BLS and NRP certifications
• Must hold current RN license in good standing
• Must be in good standing with no disciplinary actions within the past 12 months
