About the role and why it’s unique:
We’re seeking a designer to push the boundaries of how users engage with our brand across digital platforms. You’ll blend cutting-edge interaction design with our brand's visual identity to craft experiences that captivate, inform, and resonate with our growing audience.
- Drive the design and delivery of innovative, interactive brand experiences across our digital ecosystem (web, mobile, in-app).
- Create high-quality interaction designs that elevate and extend the Underdog brand, including animations, motion effects, and user flows that delight and engage.
- Design cohesive systems for brand elements such as iconography, data visualizations, and illustrations to ensure consistency across touchpoints.
- Partner closely with product, engineering, marketing, and creative teams to conceptualize and execute end-to-end branded experiences.
- Leverage user insights, analytics, and performance data to iterate on designs, ensuring an optimal balance of aesthetics and usability.
- Advocate for interaction design excellence and help shape best practices, standards, and processes within Underdog’s design organization.
Who you are:
- 5+ years of experience in interaction, product, and visual design with a strong focus on crafting compelling branded experiences for mobile- and web-based products.
- A creative problem-solver with a proven ability to design and execute sophisticated, interaction-driven experiences.
- Skilled at conceptualizing and delivering end-to-end solutions that seamlessly integrate interaction and motion design with brand identity.
- An excellent communicator with a portfolio demonstrating high-impact design work, including process, insights, and world-class execution.
- Expert in modern design tools (Figma, Adobe Suite, motion design tools like After Effects or Principle).
- A collaborative leader who thrives in cross-functional environments, working fluidly between design, engineering, and marketing.
Even better if you have:
- Experience delivering interaction- and motion-based experiences
- Experience designing for mobile applications
- Experience in fantasy sports and/or sports betting
Our target starting base salary range for this position is between $150,000 and $190,000, plus target equity. The starting base salary will depend on a number of factors including the candidate’s skills and experience, among other things.
