Job Summary:

Reporting to the Underground Process Supervisor, the Underground Process Specialist is responsible for entering locate requests into the 811 system for multiple states. The Underground Process Specialist will maintain communication with Project Managers, Construction Managers, Field Engineers, Contractors and anyone necessary, to ensure the required locations are requested in the 811 system. The Underground Process Specialist maintains a record of requests as well as compiling multiple reports and records and keeping them up to date.

What you will be doing:

• Submit locate requests into various 811 systems
• Work directly with the field on locate requests
• Maintain request records for all contractors
• Compile and maintain multiple reports and records

What You Need For This Position:

• Associates Degree or Equivalent is preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office with emphasis on Microsoft Excel
• Computer Literate
• Good Written & Verbal Communication Skills
• Strong Organizational and Prioritization Skills
• Priority & Deadline Driven
• Detail Oriented
