Our team designs, develops and maintains massively scaling technology solutions brought to life with innovative architectures, data analytics, and digital solutions.Key Responsibilities:• Design, develop, and implement high-quality software solutions using Java, Spring, Spring Boot, and SQL.• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.• Continually learn about new programming languages, operating systems, and technologies to keep updated with the industry.• Troubleshoot, optimize, and performance-tune existing systems.• Participate in all aspects of the software development lifecycle.United values diverse experiences, perspectives, and we encourage everyone who meets the minimum qualifications to apply. We are always looking for individuals who will bring something new to the table!QualificationsWhat’s needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.• 3+ years' experience as a Java Developer or similar role.• Solid understanding of Java, Spring, Spring Boot, and SQL.• Familiarity with AWS services such as SQS, SNS, ECS, SDK/CDK is a plus.• Experience with applications Splunk, DataDog, Dynatrace, AWS Cloudwatch are an advantage.• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.• Open to continuous learning and development opportunities.What will help you propel from the pack (Preferred Qualifications):• Knowledge of airline industry e-tickets, PNRs, and EMDs.• Familiarity with United Airlines internal UCD events.United Airlines is an equal opportunity employer.
