Follows guidelines endorsed by nationally recognized and evidence-based standards in all facets of therapy. Provides care that results in outcomes surpassing or meeting the departmental objectives.• Drafting documentation promptly and accurately, in accordance with department protocols for establishing medical necessity.• Submits the necessary paperwork for billing purposes and maintains the accuracy of charges and authorizations. Meets department productivity expectations through efficient time management.• Demonstrates a strong commitment to lifelong learning by actively seeking out new skills and knowledge to support professional growth and development.• Complies with guidelines from state, federal, and professional associations regarding supervision.• Utilizes a collaborative approach that incorporates patient, family, and caregiver goals to maximize treatment outcomes.• Adhere to the stipulations mandated by insurance, accrediting organizations, and regulatory agencies at all levels.• Any other jobs that may be required.Additional RequirementsRequired:Education - Bachelors: Physical TherapyCertification - Physical Therapist (PT) - South Dakota Board of Physical TherapyPreferred:Education - Masters: Physical TherapyPhysical Requirements:Very Heavy work - exerting over 25 pounds of force constantly (67-100% of the time), and/or more than 50 pounds frequently (34-66% of the time), and/or more than 100 pounds of force occasionally (up to 33% of the time), and/or more than 100 pounds of force seldomly to move objects. Possible exposure to blood, bodily fluids, or tissues.
