It is your chance to help countless people lead healthier lives while working with a Fortune 5 industry leader.The Senior Product Analyst plays a key role in the management of Optum’s next-generation oncology programs, with a specific focus on prior authorization / utilization management for high-cost specialty drugs. As such, this role requires a data-driven, detail-oriented, and organized professional who can work in a fast-paced environment.You’ll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely * from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges.Primary Responsibilities:• Support Product Managers in communicating program performance and value to clients and leadership through regular reporting, analysis, and presentation of Key Performance Indicators• Support Product Managers in defining how the end user experience should work - translating a vision to business and operational processes and detailed requirements• Support Product Managers with major launches of new client implementations and/or capabilities• Interact with clients and internal teams for inquiries, issue resolution, and information sharing• Drive the documentation and communication of the Oncology team’s product definition. This includes information related to key functions of the team’s authorization platform, operational processes, value levers, and training• Identify and maintain best practices, processes, and tools to support the Oncology product management team• Work collaboratively with the IT team to ensure the product is producing value as intended, and according to the development timeline (using Agile methodology)• Write and perform UAT scripts to ensure our IT and Operations teams have deployed solutions that meet our requirementsYou’ll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.Required Qualifications:• 2+ years of program/project management with experience in tracking, planning projects, and working with large datasets to make informed business decisions• Project coordination or project management experience• Experience using Agile methods to deliver projects• Proficiency with MS Project, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, and SharePoint• Demonstrated ability to achieve goals in a matrix environment• Demonstrated ability to prioritize and balance multiple demands and competing deadlinesPreferred Qualifications:• Experience working in the Healthcare industry• Power BI and Tableau experience• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and influence others• Demonstrated to be self-motivated, team player, action and results oriented• All employees working remotely will be required to adhere to UnitedHealth Group’s Telecommuter PolicyThe salary range for this role is $71,600 to $140,600 annually based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
