Hours: 37.5 per week
Salary: $93,070 to $116,337 annually (To commensurate with experience and consistent with UHN compensation policy)
Status: Permanent Full-Time

Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled Decision Intelligence Product Manager to join our dynamic team at University Health Network (UHN). As the leader in Business Intelligence and Automation, our focus is on harnessing the power of data to drive informed decision-making and enhance experiences across patient care, staff satisfaction, and learner engagement.

In this role, one of your main responsibilities will be driving the development and delivery of data products that are tailored to understanding and monitoring patient, staff, and learner experiences across UHN. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including data storytellers, innovation and adoption analysts, data engineering and decision support teams to ensure that our data products align with organizational priorities and contribute to building a decision intelligence culture.

Duties

  • Product Strategy and Roadmap: Develop and execute a roadmap for the development and delivery of data products. Collaborate with stakeholders to prioritize features and functionalities based on organizational priorities.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with stakeholders across the organization to understand their needs and requirements for data products. Champion the user experience in product development processes and ensure that data products meet user expectations.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data storytellers, project managers, and innovation leads to ensure successful development, deployment, and adoption of data products. Drive alignment and communication across teams to streamline processes and maximize efficiency.
  • Product Development: Lead the end-to-end product development lifecycle, from ideation and conceptualization to delivery and iteration. Work closely with data scientists, engineers, and designers to translate requirements into actionable plans and deliver high-quality data products.
  • User Adoption and Engagement: Develop strategies to enhance user adoption and engagement of data products across the organization. Implement automation and user-friendly interfaces to facilitate access to insights and drive decision-making.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay abreast of leading-edge methodologies and technologies in Business Intelligence and Decision Intelligence. Continuously seek opportunities to improve processes and methodologies to maintain a competitive edge in Business Intelligence and Decision Intelligence.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Business Administration, or related field. Advanced degree preferred.
  • 5+ years in product management, preferably in the healthcare sector.
  • Strong understanding of Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, and Decision Intelligence concepts and agile methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience working in cross-functional teams and driving alignment across stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically and drive results in a fast-paced environment.
