Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Salary: $69,560 - $86,951 per annum: To commensurate with experience and consistent with UHN compensation policy
Shifts: Day
Status: Permanent Full Time

Position Summary

We are looking for someone who can provide support to the Project Manager for the Collaborative Advocacy for Partnered Education (CAPE) Program at TIER, which is an online suite of offerings to advocate for diversely inclusive and equitable health care environments, through evidence-informed education. The candidate would also be required to provide support for special research grants and projects for TIER researchers.

Duties

  • Coordinate meetings, committees, training sessions and events related to the CAPE program.
  • Provide project management support to the CAPE Project Manager
  • Facilitate interactions between CAPE program members and Research Solutions & Services teams and other UHN Research departments
  • Research grants support to researchers for special grants and projects at pre and post application stages
  • Maintain and update websites
  • Engage with internal and external departments/ health organizations/ community health organizations, to foster partnerships and collaborations, as required
  • Maintain and update grant opportunities database
  • Develop research bulletins and newsletters for circulation among the TIER community

Qualifications

  • At minimum, Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent required 
  • At minimum,5+ years of relevant experience required
  • Experience in research, healthcare or education sectors required
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills required
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office and Outlook applications, videoconferencing tools e.g. Zoom, Teams etc 
  • Ability to work effectively and demonstrate composure under pressure/stressful conditions and to meet multiple and competing deadlines
  • Excellent skills in recognizing, analyzing and resolving problems
  • Effective organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
  • Digital and social media skills would be an asset – Web, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn etc
