Hours: 37.5 per week
Salary: $93,070 to $116,337 annually (To commensurate with experience and consistent with UHN compensation policy)
Status: Permanent Full-Time

Position Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Lean Project Manager to join our team at University Health Network. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead and manage Lean projects that drive performance improvement and operational efficiency across our organization. In this role you will leverage data and automation to share and execute Lean initiatives, ensuring that projects are executed effectively and deliver tangible improvements. Duties

  • Lean Project Management: Lead and manage Lean projects focused on enhancing operational processes and performance. Utilize Lean methodologies to identify inefficiencies, develop solutions, and implement improvements that drive organizational excellence.
  • Automation and RPA Integration: Oversee and manage projects involving Robotic Process Automation (RPA) and other automation technologies to streamline workflows and improve efficiency. Collaborate with teams to integrate solutions into existing processes
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with teams across UHN to ensure alignment and successful implementation. Facilitate communication & collaboration among project stakeholders.
  • Project Planning & Execution: Develop and manage detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones and resource allocation. Monitor project progress, manage risks, and ensure timely delivery of project outcomes.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Use data analytics to evaluate process performance and measure the impact of Lean initiatives. Prepare and present reports on project status, results, and recommendations to senior management and other stakeholders.
  • Change Management: Support change management efforts by creating strategies to engage and train staff on new processes and technologies. Ensure effective implementation & adoption of Lean and automation solutions.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay informed about Lean best practices, methodologies and emerging technologies. Continuously seek opportunities to enhance project management practices and contribute to the organization’s performance improvement goals.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Engineering or a related field.
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification required.
  • 5+ years in managing Lean projects, with a strong understanding of Lean methodologies and tools
  • Experience with Robotic Process Automation (RPA) or similar automation technologies.
  • Excellent project management skills including ability to create and execute project plans, manage risks and drive results.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on data-driven decision making.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and engage stakeholders.
  • Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification considered an asset.
