Information & Data Science (IDS) is a team of Information Scientists, Data Scientists, and Research Computing experts who focus on maximizing the power that information can provide to the Innovation, Discovery, and Product Development processes.

The Role and Responsibilities

Supporting the DuPont R&D community - We are seeking an experienced, energetic, and solution-oriented data science/engineering intern who will help drive and enable innovation through agile custom developed solutions to maximize the value of information through information and knowledge management and support for the underlying Research Solutions applications. The key responsibilities of the IDS Summer Intern are to interact with the IDS organization and partners to optimize and automate the data analysis and visualization tools for our chemical indexing and ontology services.

Required Qualifications

• Working towards a doctorate level degree in Computer Information Sciences, Electrical and Computing Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science and Engineering, and Chemistry at the University of Delaware.

• Job location - on-site Wilmington, DE
