Our client is a local industry leader in the security and systems integrations industry looking for an Level 1 Technician to join their growing team based in Pittsburgh, PA Description: • Test, inspect and clean devices which may include smoke detectors, heat detectors, duct detectors, fire panels, primary and secondary power sources, pull stations and other life safety devices • Test various functions on fire panels• Ability to recognize and document deficiencies and recommend improvements identified during the inspection process• Timely completion of inspection related formSkills & Qualifications:• Ability to read blueprints• Knowledge of electronics and excellent troubleshooting skills• Strong organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skills• Excellent oral and written communication skills• Able to follow verbal and written instructions, attention to detail• Ability to provide excellent customer service• Ability to work independently or as a team• Valid driver's license with a clear driving recordAdditional Information:• 1+ year of electrical experience or degree• Ability or proven experience with any of the following: structured cable (CAT5, CAT6), CCTV, access controls, wiring• M-F standard working hours• Local travel requiredBenefits:Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
