Senior Damage AdjusterJob Summary:As an adjuster at USAA, you will handle complex bodily injury and UIM claims with an eye towards compliance with state guidelines and a focus on providing exceptional member service through empathetic support and proactive communication.Job Duties and Responsibilities:• I use a customer-centric approach to ensure that all claims are handled in a timely, efficient, and professional manner that meets the unique needs of each client.• Explicitly identify the decision-making authority, roles, responsibilities, and accountability of each participant involved in the settlement negotiations.• Work with team members to resolve concerns and provide timely updates on the progress of claims.• Share your knowledge and experience to help less experienced team members build their skills in handling complex claims.• Assure adherence to protocols and procedures while effectively managing risks.Qualifications and Experience:• A high school diploma opens the door to more opportunities for advanced education, such as attending a university or college.• With four years of experience as a casualty adjuster, the candidate has demonstrated the capacity to handle a diverse range of claims with skill and precision.• Technical knowledge of the vehicle insurance agreement, precedential case law, and state policies and bylaws.• The regulation of obtaining and keeping an active insurance adjuster license within 90 days must be met for insurance claims adjusting.Benefits of the Position:• For the role, it is mandatory to have a minimum of three years' experience in UM/UIM injury claim management.• With over two years of experience in catastrophic injury cases, I understand the importance of giving my clients a voice and a fighting chance for justice.• My experience with injury claims from multiple states has contributed to my expertise in personal injury law.• A bachelor's degree or higher is often the minimum requirement for career advancement, as it demonstrates an individual's expertise and dedication to their field of study.• Insurance Designation.Depending on the location of this job, you may earn between $81,770 to $156,290.About USAA:USAA's primary objective is to ensure the economic security of United States military service members and their families.
