Role : UX researcher

Location :New York, NY

Current work schedule is 3 days in office (New York, NY), 2 days remote

Duration- 12 months

  • As a UX Researcher for Markets you’ll play a critical role in driving efforts to transform our clients’ digital experiences through bringing user-centered insights, data, and best practices into the product development process. You will collaborate closely with design, product, and tech partners along the way always driving towards finding simple, easy-to-use, intuitive, and elegant solutions for complex design problems. You will be responsible for building an influential UX research program that utilizes best-in-class methods, centralizes user insights and feedback, and socializes findings and recommendations all to inform UX and product priorities and strategy.
  • You bring deep experience leading influential UX research, command of a range of UX research methods, and have the ability to effectively communicate findings and business implications to broad audiences. You’re passionate about turning research insights into actionable recommendations and are skilled at prioritizing research investments for maximum impact. You’re energized by the opportunity to influence a large-scale digital transformation by representing the wants and needs of our clients through impactful insights and thrive on building strong partnerships with product and technology. Bringing the customer to life is your goal and you will continuously look to improve processes and methods to achieve this.
  • This role reports to the Head of ICG Research & Insights with a matrixed alignment to the Markets organization.

Responsibilities

Must Have

- Experience leading and managing UX research end to end with stakeholders across product, design, and engineering in complex organizations, financial institutions preferred.

- Able to connect data to product experiences and showcase the impact with common KPI’s and measures.

- Forward thinking, anticipating and identifying gaps in knowledge and opportunities for research.

- Substantial expertise in a range of mixed methods with the ability to confidently plan, conduct, analyze, and present:

o Qualitative:

§ Interviews

§ Journey maps

§ Usability tests

§ Data driven personas

§ Experience with UX research tools like UserZoom, Usertesting.com, etc.

o Quantitative:

§ Confidence in utilizing various quantitative methodologies and knowledge of when to use different approaches.

§ Experience using behavioral UX data to inform product and design (e.g. click paths, usage data, self-reported, etc.)

§ Familiarity with behavioral platforms and tools (e.g. adobe analytics, google analytics, Glassbox, tealeaf, Pendo, etc.)

§ Understanding of site-intercepts as way to collect user feedback

§ Firm understanding of statistics (t-test, anova, correlations)

§ A/B testing for UX with large sample sizes in production environments

§ Experience visualizing data into clear dashboards and straightforward insights for partners

Nice to Have

o Experience writing and analyzing data for large-scale surveys (i.e. more than 300 responses)

o Experience forecasting the appropriate sample size for quantitative research methods

o Familiarity with regression analysis
