Business Operations (BizOps)

The Role

As BizOps at Valence, you will drive initiatives of top priority for our Leadership Team. You'll scope new opportunities, diagnose metrics that have gone awry, quickly dig into problems and make recommendations, and unblock the scaling of key objectives within the company. This is a high impact, problem solving role.

What might you work on?

Drive the integration of our products to on unified design and strategy, develop infosec programs for AI security, support sales with strategic storytelling, and manage pilot programs and initial deployments. You might help implement strategies to maximize client value and usage of our AI coach, oversee customizations, and lead the transition to Salesforce to ensure data accuracy and effective use. Finally, you may support executive projects related to board activities, metrics, goal setting, and quarterly planning, providing essential leverage to our leadership team.

• Operational rigour and excellence: Contribute to challenges of strategic importance across the organization, including Talent/People Ops, Operations, and Product.

• Decision making tools: Develop models and plans to identify key inputs and drive cross functional decision-making alongside the team.
• Growth initiatives: Quickly establish a foot hold, create playbooks, and find strategies to ensure we can rapidly scale the team.
• Product and feature improvements: Collaborate with various teams, including Operations, Product, Design, and Engineering, to identify and remove blockers, ensuring timely product improvements.

• 2-3 years of professional experience in consulting or fast-paced B2B startup.
• Ability to diagnose a variety of problems, break them down, and solution in an impactful way.
• High velocity execution skills to keep many work streams on track; natural attention to the small detail.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to adjust styles to the internal and external audiences.
• Comfort with data manipulation and visualization to communication key insights in a value-added way.
•  Proven ability to collaborate with busy leaders at all levels, including the C-Suite, to drive initiatives forward.
• Self-motivated, adaptable, and resilient. Highly motivated and self-driven, with a strong desire to exceed expectations.
• Willingness to embrace challenges, experiment and continuously learn through high-quality feedback and new workstreams.

Location and Work Environment

This role offers flexibility between remote work and co-location, based on your preference. Candidates must be comfortable working with colleagues in different time zones (ET and PT) and have valid travel documents without work authorization restrictions in the US.
