Senior Embedded Software Engineer
Vannevar Labs is a growth startup building next-generation defense software for enhancing public service and national security. They are seeking an experienced embedded software engineer to develop robust sensing systems.
Skills
- Software development in general-purpose programming languages
- Experience in embedded Linux systems
- Feature ownership from development to release
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Responsibilities
- Develop software for edge devices to analyze data from software-defined radios
- Build systems that are resistant to adversarial exploitation
- Create infrastructure for scalable software updates to edge devices
- Travel up to 20% to meet with mission owners and understand requirements
Education
- Must be a U.S. resident or citizen
- U.S. Person status required for accessing U.S. data systems
