Job Description

Within Vattenfall’s Staff Function People & Culture, the unit People Services delivers services to all Business Areas and Staff Functions for payroll, HR administration, master data management, reporting/people analytics and offers support through both a self-service portal and a contact center/service desk (HR Direct).  

HR Direct is the first point of entry for all HR processes through the HR portal and service desks.  

In Poland, Vattenfall has offices in Katowice and Gliwice for mainly groupwide IT services. Last year we started in Katowice a small hub for HR services, both for transactional tasks as for a limited set of English spoken services: the People Services Common Delivery team.  
 
What will you do?

Vattenfall is looking for a HR Direct Expert who will deliver first line support to employees, managers and HR business partners.

Your tasks and responsibilities: 

  • Performing of sample checks/controls on expense claims.
  • English spoken support for internal employees. 
  • Supporting external contractors.
  • Working with different HR systems, a.o. SAP, ServiceNow. 

Location  
Katowice. The team works in hybrid mode and meets appr. once a week in the office in Katowice. 

Qualifications

Who are you? 

As our HR Direct Expert (HR services Expert) you:

  • Have Bachelor's degree.  
  • Have the knowledge of HR processes.
  • Have experience in first level support/ being first point of contact for employee and line managers 
  • Are fluent in English (both spoken and written)
  • Are a self-starter 
  • Are living our experience principles Open, Active, Positive, Safety  
  • Have the knowledge of German, Swedish or Dutch language 
  • Are familiar with systems like SAP and ServiceNow
