What to expect from Senior QA Automation Engineer position at VavaCars:

We are looking for a Senior QA Automation Engineer with extensive experience in web and mobile automation testing. As part of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts to ensure the quality and reliability of our applications. The ideal candidate will have expertise in the WebDriverIO (WDIO) framework using TypeScript, mobile automation with BrowserStack, as well as proficiency with Azure DevOps and AI-powered testing tools.

Automation Framework Development: Design, implement, and maintain automation frameworks using WebDriverIO (WDIO) and TypeScript, ensuring scalable, efficient, and reusable test scripts.
Mobile Automation: Lead and manage mobile testing efforts, including automating tests for mobile applications across multiple platforms using BrowserStack for cross-browser and device testing.
AI Integration: Explore and implement AI-driven tools and solutions in the automation process to enhance test accuracy, speed, and coverage.
Continuous Integration & Delivery: Integrate automated tests into our CI/CD pipeline using Azure DevOps, ensuring fast feedback and quick releases.
Test Planning and Strategy: Work closely with the QA lead and developers to define test strategies, including the design and execution of functional, regression, and performance tests.
Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development, product, and operations, to ensure the quality of the product through the software development lifecycle.
Test Reporting & Analysis: Analyze and report test results, track defects, and participate in defect triage and root cause analysis to improve the overall quality of the application.
Continuous Improvement: Advocate for automation best practices, contributing to the evolution of our testing processes and tools.

What you will bring:

Experience:

5+ years of experience in QA Automation, with a strong focus on web and mobile testing.
Proven experience working with WebDriverIO (WDIO) for web automation using TypeScript.
Hands-on experience with BrowserStack for mobile device and cross-browser testing.
Familiarity with Azure DevOps for CI/CD pipeline integration and test management.

Mobile Automation Expertise:

Experience with mobile automation frameworks (Appium, WDIO Mobile, etc.) and cloud-based testing platforms like BrowserStack.

AI & Automation Tools:

Familiarity with AI-driven testing tools (e.g., AI-powered test generation, self-healing tests, etc.).

Strong Knowledge of Testing Practices:
Solid understanding of automation best practices and principles (e.g., data-driven testing, test stability, scalability).
Hands-on experience with REST APIs, writing automated API tests.
Experience in functional, regression, and performance testing.
