This opportunity as Strategic Buyer is based in the local organization of Morangis (South of Paris), where you will join a regional team of colleagues covering VELUX sales and marketing activities across the region.
Taking up this position, you will become commercially responsible for indirect spend, with a focus on consolidation of spend, standardization of processes and professionalization of the overall supplier base, including opportunity analytics, contract management, as well as negotiationof commercial agreements on behalf of local organisation. You will act to understand the local business needs and requirements and ensure involvement and link to Global Indirect Procurement for sourcing alignment with both internal, local stakeholders, as well as the Global Procurement organization. Anchored within the Global Procurement Indirect Organisation, you will gain the advantages of a Global Procurement strategy, a high professional bar, shared data systems and performance metrics.
You will primarily be overseeing the following processes and tasks:
Managing procurement KPI’s and ensuring compliance with procurement policies, strategies, and procedures.
Support our carbon reduction agenda and overall sustainability strategy
Participating in category strategy development and executing category strategies locally.
Implementing and support change management locally.
Handling RFI/RFQ processes aligned with local and global purchase policies.
Aligning master data requirements with or Centralized Business Service function.
Ensuring effective relationships with a variety of stakeholders.
