Senior UX Designer

We’re a growing team, and as we scale, so does our need to focus on expanding our UX team. You’ll be joining a people-focused company, and as Senior UX Designer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the user experience of our products, ensuring they are intuitive, engaging, and meet the needs of our users.


THE OPPORTUNITY
  • Lead the design of user interfaces and experiences for web applications.
  • Work with user research to collaborate on usability testing to gather insights and validate design decisions.
  • Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs to effectively communicate design ideas.
  • Collaborate with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure a seamless user experience.
  • Mentor and guide junior designers, providing feedback and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Advocate for user-centered design principles and best practices across the organization.
  • Utilize automation tools and advanced UI techniques to enhance the efficiency and quality of design processes.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure our products remain competitive.


THE SKILL SET
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
  • 4+ years experience in UX design with experience leading and executing on big and small for web applications, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
  • A portfolio that is not just high-fidelity mock-ups; you show process, sketches, collaboration, reflection, and chicken scratch.
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, or similar.
  • Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with both qualitative and quantitative research methods.
  • Familiarity with Agile development processes.
  • Visual design is a plus
