Thousands of customers use our devices, software, and virtual guard service to detect and respond to immediate threats ranging from criminal activity to environmental disasters. We’re looking for an experienced product leader to scale our Alarms product to become the market leader in a huge market – nearly $30B in annual spend. Join us to develop technology that makes the world a safer place.Your Product Specific Scope includes:• Web and mobile interfaces: The core Alarm software platform, including site configuration, alarm rules engine, and user management• Remote monitoring: Support for remote agents to review and respond to threats, including dispatching first responders• Incident Management and Reporting: Helping customers manage system health and gain insights from historical events• Hardware: Wired and wireless sensors to detect threats, and keypads to arm/disarm and manage the systemResponsibilities:• Lead a dedicated team of engineers and designers to tackle a massive product category• Deeply understand current customer use cases and challenges with existing solutions• Develop and drive our Alarms roadmap to become the #1 player in the category• Define the feature set and offering that will help our customers protect their people and property• Launch into our established sales channel and reseller network. Own pricing, go-to-market positioning, and sales trainingRequirements:• 8+ years of experience in product leadership• Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or similar quantitative field. MS, PhD, or MBA optional• Proven history of launching and scaling new products. With that in mind, we carefully consider a number of factors to determine the appropriate starting pay for an employee, including their primary work location and an assessment of a candidate’s skills and experience, as well as market demands and internal parity. This estimate can vary based on the factors described above, so the actual starting annual base salary may be above or below this range. This estimate is also just one component of Verkada’s total rewards package.
