Senior leader for marketing department for oil and gas company in the Appalachian Basin. Responsible for the design and implementation of upstream and midstream gas marketing strategies, hedge program design and implementation and the development of market opportunities for CNX’s unique New Technologies business. CNX’s Appalachian Basin operating footprint includes PA, WV, VA and OH.
Target Responsibilities:
- Ensure that CNX’s culture of Responsibility, Ownership, and Excellence is embedded in all decision making and work performed.
- Engage collaboratively to design and effectuate upstream and midstream gas marketing strategies that optimize revenue generation from CNX’s core oil and gas and midstream assets.
- Lead the collaborative design and execution of CNX’s programmatic hedging strategy.
- Engage collaboratively with CNX’s New Technologies business to establish marketing strategies for CNX’s low carbon intensity methane projects, alternate fuels, derivative products, and related initiatives.
- Provide organization with critical decision information by providing market outlooks based on a thorough understanding of oil and gas regional, national, and international supply-demand balances, including competitor and mid-stream activity analyses.
- Oversee the day-to-day management of the marketing department and the development of CNX’s marketing team personnel.
Minimum Requirements:
- Requires 10+ years of industry experience related to upstream and midstream oil and gas marketing.
- Established relationships with regional, national, and other end users of hydrocarbon products.
- Knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations, tariffs and operations associated with the production, gathering, processing, transportation, storage, and sale of hydrocarbons.
- Knowledge of the regional transportation grid, NGL processing network and liquid hydrocarbon marketing and trading concepts.
- Knowledge of emerging markets in environmental attributes and other revenue channels associated with low emission fuels and emission reduction technologies.
- Strong analytical, project management, and interpersonal and communications skills to interface with senior management, external organizations, and customers.
- Bachelor’s degree is required, advanced degree preferred.
