Reporting to the CMO, The VP of Product Marketing will manage all aspects of our global product and industry marketing to drive go-to-market strategy, demand generation and product development. As a member of the marketing leadership team, this position will partner with multiple stakeholders to create revenue-impacting programs that align product, sales, enablement, and customer solutions. The company seeks a hands-on leader with a track record of success bringing new products and technology to market around the globe. This role requires a unique combination of technical and product depth as well as storytelling savvy with extensive experience in enterprise B2B product marketing, as well as proven success in scaling product marketing teams.
The Product Marketing team is responsible for messaging, positioning, voice of the customer research and insights, competitive intelligence, and impactful product and feature launches through all relevant channels. The VP will also delve deeply into win/loss and customers’ experience of Reputation’s products through research and data-driven insights to provide feedback to improve the marketing and sales cycle, customer experience, and identify areas for innovation. We operate in a competitive space, and this individual will be responsible for strategically differentiating our offering, positioning, and setting a product marketing vision that is category leading.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate on go-to-market and corporate direction: Partner with sales, marketing, product, and strategy to shape Reputation’s go-to-market efforts and corporate direction.
  • Lead with market, customer, and product intelligence: Drive ongoing analysis of the market, customers, products, and the competition, including win-loss reporting, message testing, and product usage and adoption analysis.
  • Profile and know your audience: Define personas of the buyer groups and inform buyer journeys utilizing data, research, and insights.
  • Build and develop an industry PMM team: Build out an industry PMM function and develop repeatable strategy for industry GTM expansion
  • Partner with finance on pricing and packaging: Work closely with the CFO, and team, to evolve the pricing and packaging strategy to maximize growth opportunities and increase customer lifetime value
  • Steer strategic analyst relations initiatives: Evolve analyst relations strategy in line with company growth initiatives. Drive execution of strategic initiatives including briefings, presentations, and events to effectively communicate Reputation’s product capabilities, vision, and roadmap.
  • Develop and execute world-class product launches: Align with the Product Management and Engineering teams to drive strategy around product positioning for existing products and new launches.
    • Define and rationalize pricing and packaging strategies for product launches.
    • Bring new products to market, both internally through sales enablement and externally through press, analyst, and influencer outreach and thought leadership programs in conjunction with our Brand and PR teams.
    • Build supporting awareness and demand generation plans with the Demand Gen team.

  • Deliver differentiated positioning and messaging: Develop a compelling and differentiated narrative and value proposition for the Reputation portfolio of products and solutions.
  • Lead our product content strategy and development: Lead the product content strategy and development of modern content assets (demos, videos, overviews, how-to guides) in partnership with the Solution Consultants, Content and Creative team - enabling customers and prospects to easily understand the value proposition including business value, product capabilities, and differentiation.
  • Drive growth with demand generation campaigns: Partner with the demand gen teams to design integrated customer and prospect journeys that generate awareness and demand. Be proactive in recognizing where pipeline gaps exist and partner with Sales and Marketing to deliver focused campaigns and sales plays.
  • Empower our Sales teams with best-in-class enablement content: Partner with sales to develop sales playbooks and GTM programs that help drive the pipeline and consideration, and cross-sell into existing accounts.
  • Build a diverse world-class product marketing team: Lead, mentor and grow a world-class product marketing team with members who are experts in Reputation’s customers, products, and industries.

Preferred Experience:
BS degree in business, marketing, or engineering. Master’s degree preferred.
  • 10+ years leading Product Marketing.
  • 10+ years in B2B marketing or product management
  • 10+ years supervisory experience with internal staff and vendors
  • Demonstrated experience bringing new products to market. New category development is a plus.
  • Track record of driving revenue growth, launching new products and strengthening brands
  • Collaborative, high energy, and convincing marketer.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Excellent strategic, conceptual, and leadership skills.
  • Strong analytical and vendor management skills.
  • Highly competent in creating and driving processes across a matrixed business structure.
  • Efficient project management skills to meet deadlines.
