DescriptionThis role is classified Remote, with at-minimum monthly travel to our Columbus and/or New York offices. International travel to India is also expected up to twice annually. Must be able to work Eastern Standard Time hours.Your RoleThe AVP of UX leads the Victoria's Secret Digital Design team responsible for eCommerce UX/UI, engagement projects, in-store digital experiences and emerging platforms. They will lead a large, newly established, global team for a large-scale Product organization. Craft and evangelize digital design strategy to accelerate evolution of all digital properties. Build and manage a world-class user-centric digital design organization. Drive innovation in interface and interaction design, creating digital experiences that inspire and delight our customers, enhancing our iconic and dynamic brands.Your TeamOur UX Design and Research team brings to life a unified digital platform that supports our specialty retail brands across multiple geographies and partners. The products and capabilities we deliver enable us to significantly accelerate global digital growth. Through a variety of methodologies, we support product teams that build configurable features and capabilities to continually drive an enhanced end user experience and greater business performance. We do this by:• Understanding the motivations and needs of our millions of customers—and building design solutions that best serve them• Collaborating with business and brand partners to create technology, capabilities, and processes that allow for efficient set-up, monitoring, and management of their digital experiences• Advocating for the learnability, efficiency, memorability, and desirability of new or enhanced features and functionality across the breadth of the user journey• Operating within a Lean/Agile development process that allows us to launch and learn quicklyIn addition, how we build solutions is as equally important to what we build. We lead with integrity, trust, and respect to achieve the best outcomes as one team.Your ImpactDeliver a world-class digital user experience• Develop a robust UX vision and complementary learning agenda, including research, analysis, consulting, studies, and surveys• Collaborate with digital platform leadership to realize the UX vision for all products• Drive platform evolution and business performance; Ensure strategies and goals are aligned with the needs of the customer• Drive the creation of best-in-class processes to drive repeatability; ensure alignment with the overall digital platform team• Create and maintain standards for site and app architecture, user interface, and navigation• Ensure that all user experiences leverage our design principles and standards• Set the bar for the quality of all execution• Bring forward new UX trends based on patterning• Establish and monitor best practices in design, our culture, and our rigor and craft• Access, understand, and utilize data to help validate the success of an implemented design and to inform new solutionsBuild and develop a progressive digital design organization• Foster a high performance, iterative, customer-focused culture• Evangelize UX to build understanding and investment in digital company-wide• Support a large, internationally disbursed group of Directors, Managers and Designers regarding their career growth plans, navigating day-to-day situations, and preparing their work to be reviewed by our team and our partners• Maintain a pipeline for best-in-market digital talent• Give back to the design team by being engaged in critiques, sharing new learnings and case studies, and by challenging existing processes with new ways for the team to be more effective• Use, contribute to, and advocate for a systems-based design methodology• Ensure tight integration and partnership with front-end technology teams• Unlock speed and quality with progressive techniques and toolsClick here for benefit details related to this position.
