VIE C.Lab Americas, Strategy Analyst - New York, M/F

Your daily routine ?

You will report to the deputy head of BNP Paribas C.Lab Americas. Your role can be split into 4 main activities.

1. Consulting activity (75%)

You will participe to C.Lab Americas consulting assignments (digital strategy & innovation strategy missions, strategic studies, startup scouting and due diligence, partnership development…) with an action plan defined with your manager. You will assist in writing commercial proposals (mission details and perimeter, estimation of number of man days, timing of the delivery). You will participate to sales meeting and client relationship management with BNP Paribas C. Lab Americas management. You will manage your priorities in terms of time allocation for the different assignments.

2. Research and expertise development (10%)

You will research and develop an expertise in different areas (financial services and 1 or 2 other industries according to your appetite). You will develop a network of key contacts in the industries targeted with the idea to have a full immersive experience in the US innovation ecosystem.

3. Marketing and communication (5%)

You will contribute to the C.Lab Americas branding & marketing activities and by extension the Group in general (media interviews, videos and articles, events…).

4. Team and office life (5%)

You will take part in C.Lab Americas team and BNP Paribas CIB New York office activities (team meetings, offsite, special assignments, volunteering…).

The working environment is important !

You will join a team of BNP Paribas C.Lab Americas of 3 people including 2 managers with more than 20 years of experience combined in open innovation. You will have the freedom to work at BNP Paribas CIB offices in New York and from home (hybrid work), following the rules and guidelines of BNP Paribas in the US.

On a typical day, you will start the day with calls from Europe with clients and prospects. Clients and prospects are executives of large corporate organizations in charge of business, strategy or innovation. You will work on research and the insights the lab will deliver to the client with the guidance of his managers. Working on the presentations include searching for innovations that can be relevant to solve the clients' problems and be able to present these innovations in a very clear and concise way. In the afternoon, you can also have meetings or calls with startups in the US to discover their innovations. You must be able to understand both the problems of corporate executives and the innovative solutions of startups. This understanding can help BNP Paribas and its corporate clients to innovate.

What about remuneration ?

It is set by Business France and can be viewed directly on their site.

Are you our next VIE ?

You have a master degree majoring in engineering or business administration.

You have gained a minimum of 12 months’ experience (internships and work-study program included) in startups, strategy/consulting role, Venture Capital, innovation/digital lab or related activities.

You have a good knowledge and understanding of the challenges related to innovation and the digital transformation of organizations, globally and in the local ecosystem (Americas, USA ...).

You have a strong interest for new technologies and its impact on the world.

You are familiar with the CSR and sustainable development related topics.

You speak fluent English.

You show good teamwork with empathy for the clients, strong synthesis skills and a proactive approach to tackle new challenges. Your creativity, innovation, adaptability and your ability to manage a project will be assets to be successful in this mission.
